About the Executive Director

David Connor
David has been the executive director of the Tennessee County Commissioners Association since 2007. Prior to coming to the TCCA, David worked as a legal consultant for the University of Tennessee, County Technical Assistance Service for over 11 years. During his tenure there, he advised and consulted with all 95 counties in Tennessee on a variety of issues and topics and worked closely with TCCA and other associations of county government officials on legislative matters. David is a licensed attorney and a registered lobbyist. He is a lifelong Tennessean, born and raised in Nashville.
